1 Peter 1:8–9

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Understanding this passage

Peter writes to people who never saw Jesus in the flesh. Love, belief, and joy are still possible without sight.

Why this verse helps

Not seeing Jesus is not a failed faith. This verse says unseen belief can still hold love, joy, and salvation.

A prayer for you

Jesus, I have not seen You, but I want to love You. Fill me with joy as I believe. Amen.
