2 Timothy 2:11–13

Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

Understanding this passage

Paul holds both a serious warning and a deep comfort: even when our faith wobbles, Christ remains faithful because of who He is.

Why this verse helps

Doubt can feel like you have already failed God. This verse says He does not become unfaithful just because you feel faithless.

A prayer for you

Jesus, I am shaky. Remain faithful to me, for You cannot disown Yourself. Amen.
