2 Timothy 2:11–13

Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

Understanding this passage

Christ's faithfulness does not shrink when yours does. He remains faithful because of who He is, even as the warning against disowning Him stays serious.

Why this verse helps

Feeling far can come with 'I have been faithless.' This verse answers that God has not become unfaithful in response.

A prayer for you

Jesus, I have been shaky. Remain faithful to me. Draw me back to You. Amen.
