Romans 8:18

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Understanding this passage

Paul does not deny present pain. He weighs it against a coming glory so heavy that suffering cannot compete with it.

Why this verse helps

Hopelessness makes the present feel like the whole story. This verse says glory is still ahead, and it will outweigh this.

A prayer for you

Lord, I cannot see the glory yet. Help me believe it will outweigh what I am walking through. Amen.
