Romans 12:12
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
Understanding this passage
Paul gives a simple pattern for hard seasons: hold hope, stay patient in pain, and keep praying. Sadness does not cancel any of those three.
Why this verse helps
When you feel down, you do not have to force fake cheer. Hope, patience, and prayer are a way to keep walking through it.
