1 Peter 1:8–9
“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
Understanding this passage
Loving and believing Jesus does not require seeing Him. Joy and salvation are already being received by those who seek Him this way.
Why this verse helps
You can seek God and still not 'feel' a vision of Him. Unseen love and belief still count, and they lead to joy.
A prayer for you
Jesus, I have not seen You, but I want to love You. Fill me with joy as I believe. Amen.
