Hebrews 10:22
“let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”
Understanding this passage
Because of Jesus, drawing near is allowed. A sincere heart and a cleansed conscience are how you come, not perfect performance.
Why this verse helps
You may want God and still feel too dirty to approach. This verse says you can draw near with assurance because you have been cleansed.
