Hebrews 10:26–27
“If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.”
Understanding this passage
This warning is for planned, ongoing rebellion after knowing the truth. Temptation is a fork: turn back, do not settle into deliberate sin.

A passing temptation is not the same as choosing a lifestyle of sin. This verse wakes you up before you cross that line.
