James 1:2–3
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Understanding this passage
Trials, including temptation's pressure, can produce perseverance. The test is not only to survive it but to grow staying power.
Why this verse helps
Temptation can feel like proof you are weak. Testing can still produce endurance if you stay with God in it.
