Refuge in Christ

Matthew 6:34

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Understanding this passage

Jesus teaches His followers to focus on today's needs rather than borrowing trouble from the future. God provides for the present moment.

Why this verse helps

Much anxiety lives in 'what if' about tomorrow. This verse gently redirects focus to today, where grace is already available.

A prayer for you

Lord, help me trust You for today and not be consumed by tomorrow. Give me strength for what is in front of me now. Amen.
